New in 4.2.x compatible version:
- Functions on both "Buy Now" and "Add to Cart" buttons.
- "Continue" directs to exact previous page, whether it be the home page, search results, product page, category etc.
- Displays upselling products with the same format as product listings complete with "Buy Now" buttons when enabled.
After a customer adds a product to their cart, by default x-cart gives you two options: have them remain on the same page, or be pushed directly into their shopping cart. The first option can leave the customer confused as to if the product has been added, while the second can result in lost sales by pushing them into the checkout too quickly. The solution to this problem?... give them the option while upselling them at the same time!
This mod provides a landing page which is displayed once the product has been added to the customers cart.
The landing page includes:
- A notification that the product was successfully added
- A very clear link back to the category of the product added
- A very clear link to the checkout process
- A listing of the upsell products you've configured for the product in the x-cart admin
The landing page is a template file which can be easily edited to add additional information and/or to customize to your needs.
