This module is currently being used on numerous high traffic X-Cart stores, providing them with accurate shipping rates, increasing profitability, and saving hours of administration time by automatically generating shipping labels for their X-Cart orders.

• Display FedEx real-time rates for FedEx Ground, Home and Express services
• Optionally use the provider's (Pro) or admin's (Gold) address for shipment origin
• Choose whether to display your FedEx account's discounted rates or the list rates
• No more importing rate tables and adjusting fuel surcharges
• Customer can specify whether shipping to business or residential address so that the appropriate FedEx Home or FedEx Ground service is made available. X-Cart currently does not allow the customer to make a distinction.
• Validates the customer's state and zip code ship to information via the FedEx server and returns error if not valid.
• Optionally adds phone validation to customer registration form to ensure value is correctly formatted for FedEx
• Optionally adds "PO Box" address validation to customer registration form to ensure "PO Box" address are not entered as FedEx will not ship to them.
• Optionally display FedEx tracking info directly in the history order template
• Optionally display delivery dates for FedEx Express services.
• Optionally run in label-only mode , enabling you to use your own defined FedEx shipping methods, bypassing the live rates.
• Configure options from within the X-Cart admin interface.
• Print FedEx labels on plain 8.5 X 11 paper.
• Optionally print order invoices on bottom half of page containing label.
• Filter orders for FedEx shipping and print batches of labels for multiple orders.
• Specify delivery signature options for each main service type (FedEx Ground, Home and Express).
• Specify drop off location type, packaging and package dimensions .
• Choose date and time for shipping when printing labels.
• Optionally choose to not print your account number on the shipping labels.
• Add tracking number to order after label is printed.
• All transactions with the FedEx server are logged to the X-Cart log directory.
• Requires certification from FedEx (instructions provided or if required, choose 'Certify for me' below).
• Requires PHP compiled with CURL support (with SSL) (mod uses https protocol). Check your store's admin summary for libCURL or CURL executable.
• Installation requires some modification to X-Cart files (install patches and full instructions provided).

Case studies

• Giordanos Pizza utilizes the FedEx real-time rates and labels mod for their FedEx Overnight Pizza delivery service. A customization made for Giordanos enables the customer to select a delivery date within certain allowed dates into the future.
• Scott Houston The Piano Guy utilizes the FedEx real-time rates and labels mod to save hours of admin work previously required to generate the labels separately from X-Cart. Further customizations made for Scott were validating shipping address to ensure no PO Boxes entered (FedEx won't ship to these), and automatically specifying the FedEx signature option depending on subtotal.
